重楼种子采收时间综合产量和药用成分含量两方面因素，种子繁育种苗的滇重楼在移栽后*6年采收佳；带**芽根茎的种苗在移栽后*3年采收佳。10～11月滇重楼地上茎枯萎后采挖。

重楼种子具有休眠特性，可以采取一种可以使重楼种子具有高出苗率的催芽的方法。具体步骤：

田间管理:(1)中耕除草。苗出齐后,松土除草1次,并结合施肥每667平方米用800～1000公斤淡粪水浇苗,每30天松土除草1次,保持田园洁净,严禁草荒。追肥。每年春季发芽苗齐后,追施人畜粪水1～2次,6～7月份重楼膨大期间于行间挖浅沟追施磷、钾肥或饼肥1次。生长期间畦面盖草或腐叶以利保湿,重楼的整个生长期,土壤湿度应保持在用手抓土一握成团、一搓即散通过去掉红皮、反复浸泡、高温浸泡和揉搓可以加速萌发。
